How Remote Readings Work
Heat metres, water metres, or electricity metres are connected to a communication module that collects data and then transmits them to the computer. The transmission is realised via a fixed metallic wire, ethernet line, cable TV distribution, or transmitters in a standard format. The visualisation software evaluates the type of reading point connected and displays the collected value in the selected format (° C, GJ, kWh).
